    Post #244 was established in June, 1992; formed in honor and memory of Sgt. Gary Wilson who was killed in the line of duty.  Currently we have 10 active explorers and 10 active advisors. As of this time we are recruiting, please see the news page for more information. We're based in Duluth, Minnesota on the tip of Lake Superior.

    The Duluth Police Explorers are for men and women, ages 14-21, who are strongly interested in the field of law enforcement, are good students, and maintain excellent community relations with respect, service, and honesty.
